All of these offerings are open to everyone, both new and seasoned meditators, whether Buddhist or not. You can drop-in to check us out at any time. Audio recordings of all sessions are made available through the WBC website.
Monthly Open House Dharma Gatherings: Every four weeks Senior Teacher Jane Kolleeny will present a talk on topics about the Buddhist path of meditation and study. These are excellent opportunities for those new to meditation and Buddhism to check us out. Bring your friends and family! First Gathering will be January 8th. Meditation Instuction available, as always.
Discovering the Heart of Wakefulness: Begining on Janurary 15th, right after meditation, we will continue our exploration of "The Bodhisattva Path of Wisdom and Compassion” – the second volume of The Profound Treasury Series, a detailed description of the path by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Classes will be led by Derek Kolleeny and Warner Dick. Topics include the cultivation of awakened heart, the union of wisdom and compassion, bodhisattva activity and the paramitas—as always, with an emphasis on joining study with practice. First meeting on January 15th.
The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma is a three-volume compilation of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche's teachings given over the course of thirteen years of annual Seminary programs for advanced students. This profound and vast treasury of teachings, carefully compiled and edited, has now been made available for a broader audience in these volumes. It is a precious opportunity to study them with senior students of Trungpa Rinpoche.
