The Pause is a monthly gathering of women in the peri-menopause, menopausal and post-menopausal stages of life. Claudia will facilitate a monthly session in which she will introduce relevant practices that include Ayurvedic principles, herbalism, shamanic journeying, restorative yoga, breath, and meditation practices, and guided yoga Nidra to support this time of transition. You do not need to follow a purely holistic approach to menopause in order to join us. Participants will have the opportunity to share current challenges and celebrations in each session.
This is offered as a series only (no single drop-in sessions) so the group can establish a container of mutual trust and sharing. Limited to 8 women.
The fall series begins in September. A winter series will begin January 2020. Tea, water and light refreshments will be served.
Claudia Gukeisen, MA, is a certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor trained in Ayurvedic and Western Herbalism, an Ayurvedic Nutrition and Culinary Educator, a 500 hr. Kripalu Ayurvedic Yoga Teacher, a Divine Sleep®Yoga Nidra Teacher and a Shamanic Reiki Master Teacher. Claudia has used the wisdom traditions of Ayurveda, Herbalism, Yoga & Shamanism to navigate her own recent journey through menopause. She wishes to offer a new perspective on embracing this transition while growing a supportive group of women traveling the same path.
