She sees her clients in a wholistic way and uses massage to support each individual’s journey of self-care and healing and as a way to activate their inner wisdom and awareness. She uses various forms of massage techniques, including but not limited to, Swedish, Connective Tissue Therapy, Reflexology and her intuitive touch depending upon the needs of the client.

Along with her education and trainings Jean believes that her work ethic, approach to the healing arts and joy for life have been developed and guided by her family; born in Europe, raised in NY with a Danish heritage. Jean feels blessed to have learned from every student she has taught including her three children whom she homeschooled. When she wasn’t satisfied with the lack of available nutritionally-sound food for her children she formed a food co-op serving twenty-five other families that she still runs 20 years later. Her dedication to community service also includes being a Board member of two non-profit organizations.
